ZADAR is situated in the very center of Adriatic, and represents the urban center of the northern Dalmatia as administrative, economic, cultural and political center of the region counting about 90 000 citizens.
Extremly indented coast, isles and untouchable nature attract numerous tourists to visit this area. Archipelago consisting of 24 bigger and even about 300 small isles and cliffs, 3 nature parks - Telašæica, Velebit and Vranjsko jezero, and 5 national parks - Paklenica, Plitvice Lakes, Kornati, Krka and Sjeverni Velebit rank Zadar and its surroundings to the very top of the Croatian tourist offer.
Modern hotels, camps, private suites, villas and nautical centers are situated along Zadar's tourist region, both on the mainland and islands.
There are several sport fields and plenty of sea related activities such as sailing, surfing, parasailing, diving, and sport fishing. From such an extensive list of activities to experience, the unique attraction of the Morske orgulje (Sea organ) located close to the ferry terminal, should not be missed. A large number of fine restaurants and konobas (a local type of restaurant) in the Zadar area offer local food specialties.
Borik beach is a combination of stone-tablets, pebbles, cement and grass. It has a number of facilities including lifeguards, life-saving equipment, first aid, catering facilities, facilities for the disabled, recycable waste facilities, swimming pool. Certified lifeguards are present on the beach during the season, from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. The beach of the hotel Borik is situated on the north-west side of the peninsula Puntamika in front of hotels, three km from the center of the city of Zadar.
Our house is situated in touristic part of Zadar 300m from the sea and main beach BORIK. The apartments are situated on the ground floor.
Around the house is 400m2 of garden and yard with parking space and open air barbecue. Additional services breakfast and half board are available upon request.
