Vodice lies 13 kilometers north from Sibenik, beside a shallow bay. Beautiful beaches, quiet coves, and aromatic vegetation enabled the development of tourism in Vodice. The inhabitants live of agriculture, fishing and tourism.

The traditional feast of Vodice takes place in August, and the Day of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (16th of July) represents a special event.
