Tisno is a small place on island of Murter, in the middle of Croatia's Adriatic coast. Tisno is situated half on the island, half on the mainland. In the middle of Tisno a bascule-bridge connects the island with the mainland. The beaches in Tisno are to all four sides, those equiped, the other "wild", natural.
In Tisno there are are four churches built from 16 to 18 century. Not far, are old cities Sibenik i Zadar, with ancient fortresses, palaces, churches... Near Tisno are two national parks: Krka with famous waterfalls (Croatian Niagara) and islands of Kornati, an archipel with about 130 islands (To the question: how much islands are in the archipel of Kornati, the answer of local people is: like days in one year).
Tisno is good linked with background: to the coast road (named Magistrala - adriatic main road) 6 km, to the highway 20 km.
