The small town and harbor on the northern coast. In the surroundings people have olive groves, vineyards, and orchards. Tourism and fishing also have an important role in local economy. There is a sand swimming beach in the large cove Vlacica. The coast between Mirac in the west, and Splitska in the east, is abundant with beautiful beaches. Two kilometers west of Supetar is Vela luka with two beaches and a pine forest.
