Sukosan is a small harbor, eleven kilometers from Zadar, located in a bay with sand beaches.
Sukosan Marina Zlatna Luka (the Golden Harbor) is nautical and tourist center in the bay Zlatna luka, seven kilometers south from Zadar, not far from Sukosan. It has 1,200 places on the floating docks for yachts not longer than 15 and with draught up to 4 meters, and 600 places on the dry docks (200 of which are under the roof). The guests have on their disposal: toilets, bar, restaurant, exchange office, bank, hotel, various workshops, crane (6.5 tons) and many shops. It is open through the whole year.

Sukosan cherishes the old customs. They are linked to the feast of St. Kasijan, the patron saint of Sukosan (13th August). The Nights of Sukosan is another event offering entertainment. During the carnival season, "luzari", masques typical only of Sukosan, represent a special attraction.

Situated in the bay, Sukosan has a multitude of nice sand beaches. The town itself offers nice walks through the traditional narrow alleys. Due to its numerous restaurants and taverns, Sukosan is known as a place of wine and song. [...]
