STINJAN & NATIONAL PARK OF BRIJUNI ISLANDS
Stinjan is an area of Pula city 5 km far from down town and 3 km far from the village of Fazana.

This little and quiet place in front of Brijuni Island (today National Park, some years ago residence place of Tito), in the last couple of years had increased their importance in the touristic development of Pula, because of its panoramic and strategic position.

The National Park of Brijuni Island is a group of 14 islands, 2 bigger and 12 smaller (Sv. Marko, Gaz, Obljak, Supin, Galija, Grunj, Vanga, Madona ili Pusti, Vrsar, Sv. Jerolim i Kozada).The National Park cover an area of 3635 acres, 2900 acres are beautiful clean transparent see and only 736 acres are islands.

It is possible visit the islands with organised trip but swimming is permitted only to the Kozada and Sv. Jerolim Island. From Stinjan, and precisely in front of Camping Puntizela you can take a Taxi boat Sandra to reach one of this two islands.

The islands have a mild Mediterranean climate, lots of sun and warm weather, plenty of humidity creating a rich vegetation.
In winter the middle temperature is around 8°C., in spring 15°C., summer 26°C. and autumn 15°C. The sea temperature in summer is around 22 and 25°C.

The most beautiful beach of Stinjan is situated on the peninsula and homonym camping place Puntizela, and is really near of our house (Panorama Brijuni Apartments).
The beach named Vile has Caribbean colours, typical Mediterranean vegetation, beach volley place, restaurant, bars, mini- market, diving centre, exchange office and so on.

Vile beach is not the only one in Stinjan. Here you will find many other place, sandy or stony beach with beautiful clean water rich of fish and see life.
