Pakostane is a place on the narrow isthmus that separates Vransko Lake from the sea, six kilometers from Biograd na Moru. In Pakostane there are a few sand swimming beaches and the Club Mediterrannee resort. The remains of the antique settlement near the sea are still visible, and the partial remains of the bases of villa rustica were discovered under the graveyard. In the sea you can see the remains of the Roman breakwater.
