Orebic is situated to the south of the peninsula, in the Pelješac Strait, vis-a-vis the town of Korčula. Orebic, together with the whole Pelješac riviera is an ancient native region of seamen, and the second town in the world by the number of the ocean liner captains. For this reason the ships sailing near Orebic sound their sirens in greeting.
Distinguished estate-owning families and seamen's families used to build here magnificent stone houses with gardens. Maritime Museum has been opened to witness Orebic's maritime history. Two private collections (owned by sea-captains families) are also exhibited here.

The house has 3 apartments. They dispose of a kitchen, a living room, separated bedrooms with folding beds, bathroom with shower, SAT-television , air conditioning, dish-washer and a terrace. The price for one apartment includes bed linen, a completely furnished kitchen with all necessary crockery and cutlery, the consumption of electricity and water as well as the final cleaning. There is also a house-owned parking place in the back of the house which disposes of parking spaces for cars. Next there is the possibility to use the washing machine.
There are several restaurants round around the vacation house, supermarkets, caffe-bars and discos, also a bank and a post office is in the closeness. Because of the mild climate and the mistral, which blows in the summer, it is a perfect location for sailing and wind surfing.
