Apartments Jerkovic are situated in the little Adriatic sea town Klek, in a splendid cove by the road between Split and Dubrovnik.
Surrounded by centennial olive trees, oleanders and other Mediterranean plants Klek is ideal for a quiet and pleasant vacation.
In the tourist village Klek at your service are dispensary, post-office, exchange office, newsagent and souvenir shop, restaurants (a la carte), bars, mini markets, pizzerias, delicatessen shops. Water scooters, pedal-operated pleasure boats, sunshades, deck chairs, bikes and motor bikes can be hired on the beach.

MOUNTAIN CLIMBING ABOVE KLEK
For those who enjoy climbing, we suggest a walk up the hill above Klek where you can sense, beside the smell of sage and other herbs, a sweet smell of the past within the Smrden-city walls.
From the very place it is possible to arrange trips with a magnificent old sailer ship “LIPA MOJA” to the nearest places on the peninsula of Pelješac.
ORNITHOLOGICAL COLLECTION
A well-known ornithological collection in Metkovic encompasses 300 bird preparations. It is the second biggest ornithological collection in Europe.
NARONA
Vid is a small village not far from Metkovic and grew on the ruins of the ancient Narona. The inhabitants of this small village are very proud of their history. The rich excavations of remnants of the ancient Romans got worldwide attention as sensational discoveries.
STON
Ston is the town with the longest fortification in Europe. It is located close to Dubrovnik. The unspoilt nature and the urban architecture are here in perfect harmony
Dubrovnik was founded in the 7 th century.
It is encircled by the two-kilometer-long walls, which were erected between the 11 th and the 17 th centuries.
With its 17 monasteries and churches, as well as one of the oldest synagogues in Europe, Dubrovnik shows its religious and cultural heritage. Various other cultural sights, the clean sea, hospitable hosts, and the specialties of this region will make your stay in Dubrovnik an unforgettable experience.
National Park «MLJET» on the island Mljet, connected by ferry to and from Prapratno
Bacinska Jezera, aprox.20 km, 7 interconnected lakes, one of them is with salt-water and a nice trip resort.
