The island Vis, Croatia is situated in the clearest part of Adriatic sea. For decades it has been a military base closed for visitors and therefore ecologically intact has preserved all the beauty. The virgin nature, clean sea, beautiful pebbly and sandy beaches, numerous bays and small islands which surround it will offer you and your family unforgettable moments. Among numerous beautiful beaches you have to visit Srebrna (The silver beach), Stiniva and Zaglav. Famous natural phenomenons Modra špilja (The blue cave) on Biševo, Zelena špilja (the green cave) on Ravnik and Krajicina špilja (The Krajica's cave) on Vis are waiting for you to meet and discover their remarkable beauty. For more active visitors it is possible to dive among red and yellow gorgonias, to discover blueness of Modra špilja (The blue cave) and other caves and the secrets of shipwrecks. In acquatorium of the island there are six sank boats from various periods, from antic to second world war. In addition the island Vis offers the visitors many monuments from antic period to modern days. The remains from antic city, roman therms, necropolis, renaissance summer houses, churches and from modern time Titova špila (Tito's cavern) testify the tumultuous history of the island.
2003.g World Foundation for Nature WWF, Vis, Croatia declared one of the 10 last paradise islands in the Mediterranean. In 2010, Tourist portal Sherman's Travel has included the island Vis, Croatia among the top 10 undiscovered island of your dreams.
Apartments Vis Merc are located in Rukavac on the southeast side of the island Vis. Once it was typically fisherman place, while today it is one of the most attractive tourist destinations on the island. Apartments Vis Merc are built in modern style and well equiped and decorated. Containing two spacious apartments, each of approximately 60 m2. Each consists of a living room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms to comfortably accommodate up to 5 persons (2 +1, 2). Both bedrooms and living room are equipped with air conditioning. Each apartment has a terrace and parking. Fireside Grill is common to all apartments. Distance from the sea is 20 m.
