DRIVING IN CROATIA
To drive in Croatia it is nesseccery a valid driver's licence, an automobile registration card and vehicle insurance documents.

BUILD UP AREAS 50 km/h
MOTORWAYS 130 km/h
HIGWAYS 100 km/h
OUSTSIDE OF BUILD UP AREAS 90 km/h
ALCOHOL AND DRIVING:
Croatia has adopted a policy of zero tolerance to driving under the influence of alcohol. It is illegal for a driver to have blood alcohol level greater that 0.00. Police routinely spot-check motorists for drinking and driving and will administer breath-analyzer tests at even the most minor accident. Drivers who refuse to submit to a breath-analyzer are automatically presumed to have admitted to driving while intoxicated
SOME OTHER RULES:
- It is apsolutely not permitet the use of mobile phones durig the driving;
- Driving with headlights is obligatory during the day and the night;
- Use of seat belts is obligatory;
- For bikers use of the helmet is obligatory;
- It is neccessery have in car a first aid box and fluorescet jacket;
