Welcome to our comfortable apartments situated in a small, extremely quiet place on the Makarska Riviera, on a beautiful coastal belt in the wider area of the town of Makarska – Middle Dalmatia- Croatia, stretching at the foot of Mount Biokovo. The whole area is covered by pine forests sloping down to superb sandy and pebbly beaches spread along this magnificent Riviera. Small holiday resorts, each different in their exquisite beauty are lined along the coast and the beaches. The places are not newly built holiday resorts; they have existed for a couple of centuries and have their own identity and the seal of their long existence.
Those who prefer peace and quiet will find accommodation to their taste in a small, cosy holiday resort like DRASNICE. The place is ideal for family vacations. It is situated at the foot of Biokovo, a mountain famous for its Park of Nature and variety of its flora and fauna.
It is a target of mountaineers, trekkers and nature lovers. The mountain is rising high up into the sky with its highest peak St. Jure (St. George) 1762m high, at a very short distance from the coastline, only 10 km from our place. From the top tourists have a fascinating view on the whole Riviera and the off shore islands.
DRASNICE is a place with 300 inhabitants, rich with natural beauties and cultural heritage, offering various tourist amenities. A clean beach, crystal clear sea and well-preserved old centre of the place are the main reasons for the growing number of holidaymakers attracted to this small place every summer.
In DRASNICE there are several old churches like St. Steven’s and St. George’s Church from 15th C, St. Nicolas’ Church from 18th C, St. Catherine’s Church from 17th C and St. Rock’s Church from 1014. In the vicinity of The Long Beach there is a natural spring of water called IZBITAC. Those are only some of the curiosities of our small place, situated only 10km from the town of Makarska. A unique location of the place enables an easy and quick connection with other tourist destinations situated along the Rivera’s coastline, very attractive for one-day excursions. For those holidaymakers who enjoy active holidays there are numerous possibilities in this area. Cycling tours are organized starting from Makarska, continuing along the coast, partly through the Park of Nature and then crossing by boats to Middle Dalmatian islands and back along the foot of Mount Biokovo.
All water sports are available in this area: water skiing, jet ski, sailing, scuba diving with coaches at disposal, boats and sailing boats are available. Para gliders will arouse sensation by their jumps from the Biokovo heights gliding down to some of the beaches at the foot of the mountain. If you want to explore more, you can visit the town of SPLIT, only 60km away from the Riviera, the town founded by the Roman Emperor Diocletian in 4th C AD, with well-preserved parts of its imperial palace, a unique structure of this kind in the world. History and culture are intertwined here. There you can visit the oldest archaeological museum in Croatia, ethnological museum, the Mestrovic Gallery, Croatian National Theatre and Diocletian’s Palace in the very centre of the town.
At a short distance from our place you can visit the fascinating small town of OMIS at the mouth of the river CETINA with its gorgeous canyon suitable for organized rafting down its rapids. DUBROVNIK is only 130 km away southwards from DRASNICE. There are ferryboats from DRVENIK (15 km from Drasnice) that will take you to the off shore islands of BRAC, HVAR, KORCULA. In Makarska you will find a number of cultural monuments and museums including a Malacological Museum exhibiting shells from all parts of the world.
In Makarska you may enjoy the nightlife. MEDJUGORJE (Herzegovina)– the world famous sanctuary is 50 km distant from DRASNICE.

Our house is located at a quiet part of the holiday resort, yet in the vicinity of the centre of the place, 50m away from the post office, supermarket, 20m from a playground, tourist office, 100m from the sea, 150m from the beach.
We offer you accommodation in our new, comfortable apartments with the sea view. They are all well furnished with all the necessary facilities: SAT TV, well equipped kitchen (microwave oven, mixing machine, big refrigerator with a freezer), music line, air conditioning, parking place right in front of the house, barbecue.
