Apartments ŽULJANA, owned by family Cakelic, are located in Žuljana, a small fisherman's village, surrounded with magnificent mountains which slowly descend to the sea, on the southern coast of Pelješac peninsula. This small jewel, nestled between mountains, enjoys many beaches, including one of the most beautiful and biggest pebble beaches on the Adriatic, splendid Mediterranean climate and crystal clear waters. The population of Žuljana is approximate 200. Main occupations are wine growing, olive oil making, fishing and tourism.
A variety of eco-food and especially the famous quality wines along the whole region of Pelješac peninsula makes this the ideal choice for nature lovers. Guests wishing to spend an active vacation will be able to choose among several activities; diving, sailing, windsurfing, fishing and hiking.
Tourism in Žuljana dates back to 1928 and the inhabitants are known as good and kind hosts. Family Cakelic has a long and rich hospitality tradition offering accommodations and serving meals, ensuring a high quality of service.
Due to the mild climate (swimming is possible between May and October) and the quietness without tourist crowds, we would like to recommend visiting us during low season as well. We offer fair prices during those periods.
