Apartments are situated nearby the sea and in the center of a quiet place in the Zadar archipelago in Northern Dalmatia. Vicinity of the Kornati islands national park, beauty of the landscape, many natural coves with the lovely beaches and clean sea make this island a true choice for those who want to take a break from the life in more populated areas. Island of Ugljan has 250 sunshine days per year.
It offers something quite different; slow rhythm, with sounds and smell of untouched nature.
There are various sports and recreational opportunities, cycling adventures. Many paths are marked, they connect costal with mountain parts marked paths. Many boat places are also offered. You can enjoy the wonderful sea, beautiful landscape and give your body and your soul a rest.
It has a several good restaurants with Dalmatian and Mediterranean food, many bars, cafes, taverns and disco clubs. The island of Ugljan lies just opposite to Zadar, divided only by two nautical miles of the Zadar Channel.
Well-known places on the island are Kukljica, Kali, Preko and Ugljan. They are only 5 min. driving distance from the ferry boat. Kali is the biggest fishing village in Croatia.
The island of Ugljan is connected to the island of Pašman by a bridge, while ferryboat lines connect it to Zadar and Biograd. In the summer period ferryboat connections are available 24 hours a day.
